This team is looking for someone who can lead a market.

We’re partnered with a nationally recognized engineering consultancy seeking a senior infrastructure leader to help drive the continued growth of their Water / Wastewater division across Virginia and the broader DC region.

This is a strategic leadership role for someone who’s spent years building credibility in the industry — managing major infrastructure programs, leading high-performing teams, and developing long-term municipal relationships.

You’ll have a genuine seat at the table here. Not just oversight of projects, but influence across growth strategy, client development, team building, and regional expansion.

 

What You’ll Be Leading

  • Oversight of large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure programs across Virginia
  • Building and strengthening relationships with municipalities, public agencies, and key stakeholders
  • Leading multidisciplinary delivery teams across complex capital projects
  • Driving business development strategy and helping expand market presence
  • Managing project performance, financials, forecasting, and operational delivery
  • Mentoring senior project managers and engineering staff
  • Partnering with executive leadership on long-term regional growth initiatives

 

The Background That Makes Sense

  • 15+ years within water/wastewater infrastructure or civil consulting
  • Strong experience delivering complex municipal infrastructure projects
  • Established presence and relationships within the Virginia/DC market preferred
  • PE license highly desirable
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams, clients, and project portfolios
  • Strong commercial awareness with experience driving growth and winning work
