The brief

 

Skyrora turned to Alexander Associates after previous agencies failed to meet their recruitment needs. The challenge was to build a team of experienced professionals with the specialised skills required in the space sector.

Working closely with their Head of Engineering, we were tasked with sourcing and securing candidates for various critical roles that matched both their technical requirements and company culture.

The challenges

 

  1. Compressed Delivery Times: The client needed rapid placements to meet project deadlines.
  2. Niche Skill Requirements: The specialised nature of the roles made it difficult to find candidates with the necessary expertise within the tight timeframe.

Talent Pooling and Searching:

We identified potential candidates through a targeted search of companies in the space sector, leveraging our database, Linkedln, Al, and other advanced recruitment tools

Detailed Screening and Shortlisting:

We used a mix of structured and situational interviews to ensure only the most qualified candidates were shortlisted and presented to the client.

Customer Service:

We maintained open communication with Skyrora through weekly meetings and transparent updates. Visits to their headquarters allowed us to gain a deeper understanding of their work environment, culture, and specific challenges, including their Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) goals. This approach built a strong foundation of trust and credibility.
