A well-established regional civil engineering and utilities provider are looking for a CAD Technician with a background in civil infrastructure and drainage design, ideally within the UK water sector.

Requirements

  • Proficient in 2D/3D CAD, Civil 3D, and BIM tools (e.g., BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud)

  • Experience with drainage design, infrastructure/non-infrastructure projects

  • Knowledge of UK Water Industry standards (WIMES, CIWEM, Sewer Sector Guidance)

  • Strong communication & collaboration skills across multi-disciplinary teams

  • Understanding of Health & Safety/CDM regulations

  • Full UK driving license

Desirable

  • Surveying experience (GPS, MH cards/tables)

  • MEICA or BIM integration knowledge
