P6 Planner – Nuclear Defence

• 12 month contract 
• Outside IR35 

 

We are looking for a P6 Planner to join our clients team and contribute to a major Nuclear Defence project on a 12 month+ contract. This contract is also offering Outside ir35 determinations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage project schedules with the guidance of experienced planners
• Review contractor performance and enforce project policies
• Collaborate with project teams, offering planning insights
• Monitor progress both on and offsite and work closely with the supply chain
• Lead schedule generation and re-baselining with project team input
• Coach operational teams to work more efficiently
• Apply technical knowledge to create integrated programs
• Establish and maintain program metrics for project status
• Develop and maintain rules for progress capture
• Manage schedule-related elements of risk mitigation and recovery plans
• Maintain schedule data within the project library

 

Qualifications:

• Qualifications in Electrical/Instrumentation/M&E Engineering, project or construction management, or equivalent experience
• Membership in a relevant professional body is desirable (ACostE, APM, etc.)

 

Technical Experience:

• 5+ years in a Planning role
• Expertise in Primavera P6
• Experience with Acumen Fuse is a plus
• Nuclear and construction experience is desirable
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, etc.)
• SC or DV Clearance or the ability to obtain it
