We’re looking for a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring innovative, cost-effective, and safety-compliant solutions.

You’ll collaborate across disciplines, support project bids, mentor junior staff, and help drive continuous improvement in design practices. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact in a high-performing, forward-thinking environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer (Chartered or working toward)

• Strong understanding of water/sewage treatment systems

• Experience managing design teams

• Skilled in layout optimisation and design coordination

• Strong communicator and problem solver

• Full UK driving license
