Are you a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer with a passion for the water sector? We are looking for aPrincipal Design Engineer (Mechanical)to join a growing team, taking the lead on key water projects forAMP8.

This is a remote role with occasional travel required a few days each month.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a multi-location team of junior engineers

• Drive the mechanical design of wastewater, clean water, and biosolids treatment projects

• Oversee design and project management from concept to completion

• Develop design reports, drawings, and calculations

• Design energy-saving solutions and balance of plant systems

• Engage in HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA studies

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)

• 7+ years of relevant design experience

• Chartered Engineer or working towards (CEng)

• Proven experience in the Water Industry

• Strong computer and communication skills

• Full UK driving license and own transport required
