We’ve just partnered with a leading design consultancy operating out of the Kansas City region, who are looking to grow there water/wastewater presence in the local area. What You’ll Do

Join a seasoned water services team where you’ll contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of meaningful water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Your work will help strengthen communities and support long-term client success. In this role, you will:

  • Guide projects through all stages—from initial planning and design through final construction.

  • Support and mentor junior engineers while ensuring deliverables remain on schedule and within budget.

  • Prepare clear, accurate project documentation aligned with defined scope and quality expectations.

  • Conduct technical evaluations, collaborate with specialized partners, and contribute insight to reports and analytical work.

  • Work closely with clients to understand project goals and deliver effective, tailored solutions that build lasting partnerships.

  • Engage with local stakeholders and assist with business development opportunities to help expand our reach and impact.

What You Bring

You’re a collaborative thinker with strong technical abilities and a desire to advance into leadership roles. Ideal candidates will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (a master’s degree is beneficial).

  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within the required timeframe.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in water and/or wastewater system design, including treatment facilities, distribution networks, and collection systems.

  • Demonstrated experience managing water or wastewater projects.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork capabilities.

  • Confidence in preparing technical reports, client presentations, detailed memoranda, and construction documents.

  • A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a collaborative, people-focused workplace.

  • Active participation in relevant professional organizations.

  • Motivation to continue developing technical leadership within water and wastewater treatment disciplines.
